 Dolly is a real hoot, saying she just flew in from Dollywood, and that it wasn't named that to rhyme with Hollywood, but to tease all the boys in High School who wished 'Dolly Would'!! With quotes from books and interviews she adds many 'family' stories that will bring the house down. With information on the 'guest of honor' she'll do a spicy roast, and do a teasing dance-around to 'Nine to Five'. After that she will lead the singing of 'Happy Birthday', or 'For He's a Jolly Good Fellow', whichever is appropriate and will present the honoree with a hat, horn and souvenir.  Miss West, as she was always known by, saunters into the room using a borrowed Mark Twain line by saying: "hmmmm, as you can see, the rumors of my demise were greatly exaggerated, but that 'other stuff' you heard about me, wasn't!!" She follows with lines from her movies, (Why don't you come up and see me sometime) interviews (I only like two kinds of men, domestic and imported), and books (Good girls go to heaven, bad girls go everywhere) and will do a 'roast' of the 'special person' the party is for. With a short teasing dance-around to 'Frankie and Johnny', she'll finish by leading the group in either 'Happy Birthday', or 'For He's a Jolly Good Fellow'!! and will present the honoree with a hat, horn and souvenir. A lot of 'double entendre', fairly tame by today's standards, but still 'adult' in content. |
